I Saved Β£3,000 Doing This πŸ‘€

Hey Reader

Wow, what a few months it's been...

I am BUZZING we're finally getting some prolonged sunshine on our faces... 🌞

I've also been quite tactical with my money lately and wanted to overshare... as you do...

My emergency fund took an absolute battering back end of last year.

The dog was sick, we moved house, it fell apart... I mean literally endless things

(yeah, yeah, boohoo me 😭).

But they were blooming expensive life slaps at that.

So, here's some cheeky bank holibobby savings hacks you can steal to boost that wallet pre-summer.

Let's gooooooo...

------

Numero Uno

Bank switches - I've done 3 of them over the past 6 months racking up Β£550 in the process.

The Current Account Switching Service makes it so easy moving all your direct debits, bills and even your pay over in 7 working day.

Natwest, Santander, First Direct all paying between Β£175-200 right this second.

Get it on it like a car bonnet (just check the T&Cs first).

-----

Numero Dos (I'm not Spanish, but I love the Spanish)

I've made use of cashback... everywhere...

We moved house, nothing fit. So you buy stuff right?!

But when there's a possibility to get it cheaper... I mean people, why wouldn't you?!

We're talking B&Q, Tesco, Argos, JD Sports, Etsy... everything you can think of...

That's why I've built cashback into Gains app

Literally just selfishly so I can get my own stuff cheaper mwahaha (but you can too, don't worry!)

It's so simple too - takes 30 seconds, money off everything.

----

Numero Tres

It's tres annoying when your bills go up isn't it?!

Mine have... a lot...

Sure, it's to be expected with a house move, but the average Brit overpays Β£480-680 a year on bills.

Shopping around and locking in some new customer offers can fill up your coffers...

Or I might add - hold your current ones to ransom telling what you've been offered elsewhere.

Works a treat. Trust me.

----

Numero Fouro (I've given up)

Awareness. I had absolutely no idea I was paying for Paramount TV, Disney and Apple TV.

Like zero knowledge (I know the finance guy right - eeek).

It's so easily done though in this digital age we all live in...

BUT ladies and gentlechaps... on Gains app you can see all your upcoming payments right away.

It's eye opening πŸ‘€ and cancelling those saved me over Β£300 a year.

Have a look. It doesn't bite...

-----

Shameless plug incoming πŸ”Œ

Look Gains app has been built to help with all the above.

Where's your money going? How to plan ahead? How to save on your spending?

How to just be a little better with money, but also trying a lot less hard and in a non-judgy way...

Sound interesting?

You can download it right now.

There's a generous free plan, with all the tools too!
